Cutting Department Position

Star Wipers is currently seeking motivated individuals to work within our cutting department.

  • Pay is based on production (piece rate), with earning potential of $20+/hour with no cap
  • During training, a minimum of $15/hour is guaranteed
  • After the designated training program, the self-driven cutter will work independently to cut a variety of garments, linens, and other textiles.
  • Benefits: Paid Time Off (PTO), Holiday Pay, Medical/Dental/Vision, 401-K/Guardian
  • Candidates must be punctual, dependable, and have a willingness to learn.
  • No prior cutting or manufacturing experience required.

Maintenance Technician Position

Star Wipers/Action Supply in Newark, OH is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician.  The schedule is 1st shift, Monday-Friday. Must have knowledge of the following: electrical 480 volt and troubleshooting, hydraulics, pneumatics, industrial laundry facility equipment and the ability to read schematics.  Being a team player, having organizational and communication skills, and excellent attendance are desirable for this position. This position allows for growth within the company. Pay is commensurate with experience and starting wages are between $25-$30 per hour.

Candidates must:

  • Be able to lift heavy objects 75 lbs. or greater 
  • Have 5+ maintenance experience 
  • Have a valid driver’s license 
  • Communicate and work well with others   
  • Be a Team player 
  • Able to work a flexible schedule
  • Have organizational and communication skills
  • Excellent attendance is desirable

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • facility, equipment,  & truck maintenance
  • This position allows for growth within the company
  • The schedule is 1st shift, Monday-Friday

Driver Position

Star Wipers/Action Supply is currently seeking a dependable truck driver with a current CDL-A certification at our Newark, Ohio facility. Qualified candidates must be reliable, team-orientated and have flexibility in their schedule

Pay is commensurate with experience and paid at an hourly rate ranging from $25-$28 per hour.

Position highlights:

  • Monday through Friday work schedule
  • Mostly daylight deliveries and pick-ups
  • Inter/intra state trips
  • Home most nights
  • Possibly covering a few overnight trips per month
  • $50 Monthly Phone Stipend

Qualified candidates must:

  • Meet all DOT requirements for a Class A CDL
  • Have recent verifiable tractor trailer experience
  • Possess admirable communication skills
  • Be able to lift heavy objects 50 lbs. or greater

$3,100 Retention Bonus for First Year:

  • 173 Hours $200
  • 520 Hours $500
  • 1038 Hours $900
  • 2080 Hours $1,500

Employment is contingent upon passing a drug test, background check and all regulated requirements for CDL-A holders.
